“Dear participants of today’s conference! Allow me to welcome you, to thank for the fact that you have responded to the invitation and are present here today. This is the second KDR Roundtable, with last year’s event being held under the slogan "we will not drill uneconomical wells"

We will not drill uneconomical wells that are unecomical at the project level, and the motto of today's conference is “do not to drill unecomical wells at the project level”.”

With the second largest oil reserves as well as the second largest oil production among the former Soviet Republics after Russia, Kazakhstan is at the forefront of the oil and gas sector in the Caspian region. The 3rd KDR, Kazakh Drilling Roundtable, took place in Astana on the 12th of September 2017. It was fully supported under the Platinum Sponsorship and General Event Partnership of JSC NC KazMunayGas. As the a planned series of specialized roundtable, oil and gas events, to be held in Kazakhstan in association with JSC NC KazMunayGas, the KDR sets benchmarks for the future development of the industry and allows international companies to build long lasting business relationships with the key players in the Kazakh Oil and Gas sectors.
